Raw Peanut (in shell)
Fresh, raw peanuts from Chiba arrive in the shell. In shell raw peanuts are ideal for those who like to eat them unroasted. You can also cook them to your own taste. Our peanuts are a healthy treat that is high in protein, fiber, and heart-healthy nutrients.
Ingredients: 1 pound fresh raw peanuts, 1/4 cup salt
Directions: Pour the raw peanuts and salt into a large pot over the stovetop. Cover the peanuts completely with water and bring to a boil. Let the water boil for 40 mins-50 mins, then leave it 1 hour. Test the peanuts for doneness by cracking them open. If they are soft, they are finished. If they are still crunchy, you will need to cook them longer.
