Soybean Hummus This is the perfect example on a possible twist where chickpeas are being replaced by soybean. Why import chickpeas from the other side of the world when you can have almost the same result with a local grown product.
200 gr soybean (let it soak for 12h in salted water prior usage)
15 gr Sesame paste
50 gr Olive oil
30 gr Lemon juice
½ Coffee spoon of Cumin
1 garlic clove
1 spoon of water
- Put all the ingredient in a blender (make sure to have soaked the soybeans for 12h)
- Blend till you get the desired texture
- Add more some of the ingredients according to taste.
